help required with designing a logo
I am trying to design a logo for a customer and not getting anywhere.
She is looking for something for a charity called Comfort Kids, the thing is she’s wanting something that can be made and installed cheaply too and something that involves ‘hands’ so as to give a caring feel to the name.Anyway, I came up with this but she hates it (don’t worry about colours etc as if a basic logo can be agreed colours etc can be changed to suit her, so I just done this in black to see if it was the kind of logo she has in mind. But it’s not.
I’ve tried other ideas but getting nowhere with the hands part of it 😕
It is a charity that help Rwandan children.

I hate having to do hands in a layout.
Here’s a suggestion.
If memory serves, this gesture also means "child" in sign language.

Marcella, first glance at the logo and I thought it looked like a pair of "Y" fronts in the hands, had to look closely to see it was a heart. Not sure if it was the closeness of the colours that threw me.

Heres a couple of attempts Marcella.
For colours the Rwandan flag is pale blue yellow and green as the colours in ‘kids’ in the second one.

She loves the one with the heart in the hands, just tweeking it a bit and adding other colours to make it ‘earthy’ as she put it! 😮
