help please keyboard not working properly?

Dunno – Function Lock? If there is such a thing…
Hang on – turn off NUM LOCK. And if that doesn’t work – go into the BIOS and set ‘numlock status’ on bootup to OFF.
SHOULD fix it.

ah Function Lock, remember that on the dells, its normally a feature for that series of laptop. so
For Inspiron: Turn off the [Num Lock] key on the keyboard.
For Latitude: Press [Fn]+[Num Lock]. -

naaaa didnt have the right powder rob ……and besides im scottish do you know how much these things cost to run …..nope its down to the river to was my cloaths and dishes !!!!!! 😀 😀
