  • help please can`t get Roland SP-300V to work?

    Hello again 🙂

I have another problem with different printer.
After I have solved last problem, the next one has appeared.
I can`t set Roland SP-300V to work with SignLab 7.1.

When I send job to Print and Cut Manager – everything is ok, when I want print it – Roland show "DATA ERROR".

I installed new drivers but it didn`t helped and I can`t even print a test page.
I think that I have problems with usb port – when I changed usb slot it has printed test page, but still didn`t work with Print and Cut Manager.

In Print and Cut Manager, when I open Tools > Manager Printers, I have got:
Roland VersaCamm port: RolandSP300-V_USB001+ ver: 3.97
    I can choose different one – USB001 and VERSA-A.

    I really don`t know what to do… 😕

    Michal,
Just had exactly the same problem with my SP-300. My tech support asked me to delete the printer.
Open Print and Cut Manager > Printers> Manage Printers> highlight your sp300v and delete. Now re-install the printer from your original from Cadlink CD.
I think the print profiles may be lost although I have a feeling they can be saved – make sure before you delete.

Perhaps there’s a bug in the lastest online updates.

    Steve – I owe You a good beer 🙂

I re-installed the printer to version 3.94 and it works great 🙂

    Thanks a lot 🙂
