    Hi,

I have a customer that I supply prints on yellow reflective to, previously on Oracal 5600.

With Paperlinx gone does anyone know of an alternative?

    Many thanks

Antalis may do it, I also sourced some Oracal from MDP in Falkirk last week, so maybe worth a call John. 😀

We bought some from Paperlinx in Northampton last week, so still may be worth giving them a ring.

Thanks everyone……..First Fix in Glasgow sorted me with some Avery…..and its £5.00 a metre less than the Oracal I was using.

im going back a bit but from memory we bought Mactac reflective which was receptive to printing and we run a fair bit using it. it was buttons in comparison in cost, but it was never as good a print quality as the oracal. Also the Oracal has its quality ghost markings on the face which conforms with XYZ road regulations. Something i personally think should be applied to the majority of all quality films.
Further more, I have yet to find an reflective with similar characteristics of a regular vinyl when it comes to weeding, applying and more important "removal". any equivalent i have tried over the years simply snaps, tears and in most cases wont remove other than in tiny bits. the oracal reflective will remove with ease once heated.

i have never tried the Avery digital reflective John, didn’t know they did one, please let us know if it works as well as the Oracal. more so on the removal side of things.

Will let you know Rob………..this customer just gets 45mm contour cut stickers so removal is not an issue for me.

If fitting reflective myself I always laminate it onto clear or white…..much easier to fit as you can pull it off and reposition which is impossible with unlaminated reflective which would just shatter if you tried to re position.
