I have looked at joining and despite the obvious can anyone tell me which would be the best for a beginner/hobbiest like me.
I want to access the demo board but cant decide if I should go silver-gold or UKSB+gold.
Could anyone please take the time to bring me up to speed on the correct level of access for someone like me?

i have checked your access account mate and you should now be able to access all areas. your account was actualy activated within 24hrs of joining, so i am a bit in the dark as to why you couldnt veiw certain areas.
anyway, what i have done is to delete you from each group and add you again. hopefully this will clear any niggles in the account. if for some reason you still cant get into a forum, email me at uksigngroup@hotmail.com or use the “contact us” form found on the left of home page, under navigation, & i will get it sorted pronto…

Seen you’re in Bournemouth.. I just moved from Bournemouth to Salisbury and work in the paintshop in Boscombe most weeks. Spend the rest of my time at my home studio painting bikes/choppers etc and designing signs/decals.

Andy, for demo access, you’ll need Gold Access. The UKSG is seperate from the demo area, as becoming a member of the UKSignGroup means you’re part of the largest independent signmaker’s buying group in the UK. (blimey, I sound like an advert! 😮 )

As I understand it, Silver & Bronze Access gives you access to various forums, but not the demos. The other forums include Files/Fonts forum & the Quoting forum (there may be others, just can’t think atm). The files & fonts forum is about the best you can get for any signmaker. If you request help for a particular image, logo or font, ppl will try there best to help you find it quickly. Sometimes what you’re asking for needs to be bought, but members will give you the link, or suggest a free or nearly free alternative. Humble opinion, but the membership is worth it alone for this facility.
