Help finding paper suppliers
Posted by Warren Beard on November 28, 2012 at 7:51 pmHi
Am installing Xerox printer and finishing equipment but am having trouble finding suppliers for SRA3 & A4 paper, besides Robert Horne can anybody tell me who to contact for this?
Any good websites with more details etc for this market I would also be keen to hear about.
Cheers
Warren

ok.. i got our Xerox contract copier from Xeretec http://www.xeretec.co.uk
They also take orders for supplies, think my contract allows better pricing but basically they push buttons on the xerox website and we get the xerox supplies.

Premier Paper and McNaughton Antalis are both very competitive and offer digital papers, i mostly use lumi digital and pro design for coated stock, great results from both
-
i agree with Robert.. he is right… Antalis and Robert Horne have paper divisions… check the websites out

yeh same here, i know it doesnt mean best prices etc but certainly capable of it is Robert Horne. they have 3 divisions i think and owned by one of if not the largest paper company in the world.

Try:
Oce
Sihl
PyramidWord of warning if your going for the 120gsm, it was awful to print our RS.

graham as david said not very good quality print, adiquate only if you need to paste it
we used the 1370 wide and have you tried pasting that width think i might as well put it on upside down might have looked better 😀 -
Chris, upside down and back to front might improve my art work.

Graham,
Have you tried Robert Horne, they have a blue backed paper DTEC something. No idea what weight it is, I sure they’d send out a sample. -
I had a look on the Smith Web site, perhaps it just me , but found it difficult to find any product that was a match to what I was after, I called them and they do not keep stock in Glasgow, so perhaps the sample route is the way to go.
