    Hi
Looking to produce a clock sign similar to the picture attached for our client.
Anyone know if you can get a blank with the clock part already done.
    Thanks

you can buy clock mechanisms pretty cheap online you just need to drill a hole for the mechanism to fit through pretty straight forward

I was thinking the same thing – just remember to leave out the battery otherwise your client will never get back :awkward:

Its not, but you can use the mechanism…. Otherwise, sheet of acrylic, hole in the centre, coule of clock hands, and a hole. Just put fibre washers in between the hands so you can tighten them and they still move.

I would personally laser cut them all including the hands.

We made one like this a while back, just laser cut hands with nut and bolt through it.

    looks good Warren.

I was going to say you could just cut foamex or composite with a Stanley knife for the hands and a nut, bolt and washers. job done…

    Thanks for the replies

I don’t have a laser cutter and in the back of my mind, I know the customers wants to pay as little as possible, so was looking for something off the shelf. So yes I could probably make them one, but time = £. (Excuse the pun).
