HELLOOOOOOOO
Posted by mikeouk on November 8, 2004 at 7:53 amMike here from Cumbria,
hope you guys don’t mind me jumping aboard, not sure if technically I shouldn’t be here as I don’t manufacture signs but I do erect them so this sight will be useful to me.

welcome aboard 🙂
don’t have an office in australia do you? Good sign installers are a rare breed over here.
The guy I use is brilliant but we certainly have a shortage of reliable guys here.
Hope you find the site usefull.
Cheers

Ill have to remember that Shane,,,the thought of putting up signs in the sun sure beats having to strap my ladder down and wear waterproofs for 30% of the year…. 😎

The downside mate is that we have the highest rate of Skin Cancer in the World. You have to cover up anyway 🙄

Hi Mike from Cumbria 😀
Welcome aboard, Im almost 100% sure your not the only person on this site that does not actually make the signs, so don’t worry about that. You should be able to share a few fitting tips hopefully 😉
Dont foget to post your avatar 😉 😀 let us know who we are nattering on to.

Hi and welcome Mike 😀
Cumbria eh? One of my favourite places to visit, I’m the annoying chap who slows down at every hill and lake, staring like a lost puppy at the landscape 😳
There always seem to be a shortage of experienced fitters for some reason (or erection specialists as Jill would call them :lol1: ) but I’m sure you’ll be able to learn & add as much as a signmaker to the boards 😀 Look forward to hearing more 😀
Cheers, Dewi

Welcome to the site Mike,
😮 😮 😮 BE WARNED IT GETS ADDICTIVE 😮 😮 😮 -
Hi Mike,
Welcome mate. I know what you’re saying about the weather, I was down the pier end with my friend from Southway Posters and insist on helping now with the erection of his sign boards – he got blown right off his ladders a year or so ago and broke his arm, from about a height of 20 feet! Good old English weather!
The board is great fun and as others say, addictive 🙂
