Hi All

New to all this forum stuff but have read loads on this site and thought I should say hello.

I’ve been in the signage industry for a while now but last September I went out on my own. Up to now I have mainly used vinyl applied but I have recently bought a Seiko 64s hoping to crack the digital print market.

It’s not been going too badly until now. I have come up against a problem with eliminating a yellow line/bleed on red print it’s not on the sides left or right but on the front side of the printer if that makes sense. I have tried head alignment but that hasn’t helped any ideas need to get this job out? Could it be a software problem?

I hope someone has an answer and look forward to being helped and helping out others when I can.

Evening Gary,

I don’t have one of these machines but on our Roland I’d be checking;

Head "cleanliness"
Feed Adjustment
Bi-directional adjustment
Environment match

Basically checking/setting anything that is user "settable" that’s to do with the head.

As I say apologies that I don’t have one of these machines but sometimes the smallest idea can end up with a fix 😉

Me thinks Peter wanted a more specific location than Lincs
After all it is 2274 square miles!

Yes Matty, just a BIT but not ALOT. As Mr Normington says, its a big county with lots of towns and villages etc. Bit like Northamptonshire really.

Try Google maps and you can see just how big it is.
