Hi Michael!…(Michael what? – please fill in your full name in your profile) 😉

Good luck in your new venture. There are numerous suppliers of a whole range of products from all over the country. I’m sure others will suggest various suppliers and supply their numbers etc. – but in the meantime, the best hing would be to click on the ‘SignUpDate’ magazine link on the main page and contac them to receive your monthly trade magazine. That’ll give you a fabulous amount of information of who does what and from where!

Alternatively, use the ‘Search the boards’ feature at the top of this page and get readin’…there are thousands of previous topics and reference posts right here already.

    more soon

doesnt matter how far down the ladder you are mate. its fine with us..

vinyls.. well, im not gonna try sell you here.. ive used mactac & oracal for the last 10 years or more..
both great vinyls & both i would rank high as a calandar vinyl.
you will find loads of vinyls out there.. very exspensive to dirt cheap.
i would advise you to stay well clear or the dirt cheap.. various reasons.. too many to list now..
it all comes down to what you are willing to pay i guess..
if you want a top brand vinyl at low cost. then our online shop here at the site sells one of the best calandar vinyls on the market. oracal!
whats more, being new, you wont get close on cost per metre when buying
    oracal elsewere..
    have a look anyway..

sales speal over 😮 😮 (i think i am turning into one of those.. those.. eh eh SUPPLIERS 😮 😡 😡 )

seriosly though. the vinyl is good & i think any uk sign group member will vouch for me.. the whole group of almost 80 uk sign makers use it daily. 😉

Hi Michael and welcome to the mad world of signmaking.
tis a brave move you make, no….not becoming a signmaker, but joining the group. You won’t be getting many full nights of kip anymore 😀 😀 😀
The site is absolutely full of extemely useful information and can be used for simply finding suppliers to getting quotes and even how to price jobs correctly!
Since I joined earlier in the year it has given us a whole new lease of life and made us realise some of the problems we have encoutered are common to a lot of signmakers and that we weren’t alone.

Good luck in your new venture. I hope we will see many more of your posts in the future.

Hi Michael…Welcome to the site. What you might be better off doing first is to search through the site and glean heaps of information from there. As a matter of fact, I’m about to do the same here.

It’s a great place with loads of great characters. Enjoy.
