Hello from Ottawa Canada
Yahoo!!!!!!!! I am now officially a legit Gold member. Though I have been a regular member for a couple of years, I just never got time until a few weeks ago to look around. I was totally amazed at the quality of craftsmanship, congrats to all! Once I saw the Dragon Fly Knoll (like the third post I read) I ran to the local hardware bought a band saw, off to the sign shop and got some 23 k gold leaf to give it a try. I also have a roland GX24 which was the main reason for revisiting the site to see what I could do with it. Obviously the site has much much more to offer and had to purchase a membership immediately. I am sure I can come up with some original ideas to incorporate some of the things I have played with. Actually now that I think of it, one piece I had a lot of pleasure doing a few years ago was taking a large old gate (5 inch thick, 1 foot tall and probably 4 feet long, totally weather and decayed) I routered out a lake and our name, cut some stained glass to a close fit then used solder to fill the outside gaps and hold the glass in. That was about the only sign work I had ever done. I have been more involved with airbrushing over the last 3 years so I hope I can contribute more along those lines. Anyway hello and I look forward to exchanging some ideas with you all.

Duncan you would have to be kidding about the tons of useless information here in Ottawa as there is much more that. I know that for sure, full time I am an Senior Information Specialist with EDS / HP. LoL
Neil I have a small part time business and will airbrush anything from tattoos on prosthetics to helmets, bikes and finally a few cars. I am currently in the process of looking for a location to expand.
Stevo Thanks eh! I have a few friends out west and had a great opportunity to install numerous Government office all through western Canada. I spent fair amount of time in Victoria and I forget the name of the hotel in Edmonton ( down town by the harbor) but they were shooting a film in the lobby and next thing I know I am standing outside with Billy Idol. Cooooool
I need to go back and check out the forum rules for posting pics and linking then I will be sure to get some examples of my work posted.
Later Guys! Santa Claus parade day here at the house and all my little greebers are coming over for treats. I need to practice a lot before they get here so I can beat them at Rock Band ( Wii)
