hello from Manchester
I’ve roamed around the boards for a few months like a lost sheep, so thought it was time to reveal myself.
We do architectural drawings (boring straight lines on cad 🙁 ), which lead into 3D work (getting better at least some creative movement, 3D lines in max 😕 ), which lead into large format printing on an encad plotter, that lead to digital printing, web sites and graphic stuff using adobe/macromedia 🙂 . Then a mate asked if we could sign up his vans ‘no worries’ came the reply 😮 hence wandering into the site. Green? So green the green cross code man looks grey….. picked up a second hand cutter only yesterday.
Up side: sites got good advice, Got SignLab off a man you all seem to like, along with 2 days training…….got to start somewhere, and who knows where it will lead in the end (cleaning streets no doubt, but as long as we have a laugh on the way who cares).
My wife does all the digital printing and stuff, just got her a hot foiler…… she likes to spend it so she can earn it (hope not to unPC).
Did I mention I want to retire by 40 and live somewhere hot (Manchester is wet and trendy but not hot) that gives me 7years………….so 50 vans a day at 500quid a van (is that about right?), where’s me calculator….

Carlsberg don’t do signs and if they did they wouldn’t come anywhere near ‘Mike the Signs’
Two days training from probably the best in the land
So you’re really off to a flying start.Keep plugging at it. The snowball’s probably a little small and slow at the moment but in time it will grow and gather momentum

I have just finished signwriting “The Allex Grill” in Manchester city centre, I lettered 4 facia signs, 6 windows and an “A” board, next time your in that area take a look .Brian the Brush
