    Hi,

    I thought it would only be polite to introduce myself 🙂

    My name is Andrew Carnegie (Andy to you… my wife is the only person who calls me Andrew and that’s when I’m in trouble!) and I live in Seaford on the South coast of England.

    Most of my work involves website and Flash animation design but I am just starting to offer my clients personalised goods as a support service (mainly t-shirts as I used to produce my own t-shirts about 10 years ago).

    I am sure I will come here for help from time to time and equally if anyone needs any pointers which involve graphic design or the design of a website then I will be more than happy to help.

    Hello Andy!
    I am from a town near Pittsburgh PA that benefited greatly from the late Andrew Carnegie in the heyday of the steel industry.
    I was curious as to how you pronounce your surname.
    We say carNEGGY, but the swanky folks in New York City cay CARnagie.
    Just curious.
    Love….Jill

    @Robert

    oops, sorry, I didn’t realise that only portraits were allowed.

    @Jill

    It is pronounced car-nee-gee

    I only wish I had some of his fortune!

    @everyone else

    Thanks for the warm welcome.

    Wow! A whole new way to pronounce it!
    Hey I also visited his hometown in Scotland, Dunfermline.
    I think I pronounce that the right way.
    🙂
    You should see all the Carnegie libraries.
    We even have a Carnegie museum where I went to art classes as a kid.
    Love….Jill

    Ahh so your one of those mad people who takes satisfaction from being frozen to the bone on a wind swept beach then eh?

    The only fish I go near are generally coated in a crispy batter and wrapped in newspaper 😛
