    Just introducing myself!

I’ve been in the print trade for 30 years (family business) but now run a small digital print shop with a couple of others (no family, a lot less stress!).

We don’t do any large format in-house at the minute but are looking at investing in our first bits of kit soon.

Have been researching kit for months but its not getting any clearer!

    Cheers

    Tim

welcome to the forum Tim, if your running a digital print shop what equipment are you using just now, choice of printer will depend on what you are looking to do & which direction you want to go with this.

Better starting a seperate thread asking about that in the printer sections.

We currently have a Xerox DC242 and various bits of finishing kit, booklet maker, guillotine, paper drill, numberer and perforator etc!

Currently looking at putting in a Roland SP540i or Mimaki CJV30 130 (have started a thread General Printing Discussion section (propably wrong place)). Roland is looking favourite due to lower initial cost.
