    Hey Guys 🙂

My name is Jonathan Stark. I’m a college student attending Penn State in central Pennsylvania (US). Ironically, I see there are a few posters here that are less than an hour away from me! Small world!

I’m a newbie to the industry but am pursuing a doming business with a partner. This is my 2nd business venture with Compulsive Paintball, Inc (www.CompulsivePaintball.com) being my other venture. If you’ve never played Paintball, you’ve got to get out and give it a try!

I might not be able to answer many of your printing related questions, but if you’ve ever wondered anything about Paintball… I’m your man!

I look forward to posting and participating around the forums!

Hi Jom, welcome. Paintball…Great fun. Unfortunately it’s illegal here in western Australia, however I’ve tried it a couple of times “underground” man what a great buzz.

Hi Jom – and welcome to the UKSignBoards 😎

I’ve done paintball a couple of times, a few years ago now, back when the guns were single shot and a bit feeble! But I remember what a great buzz it was and have always vowed to do it again. I remember one incident in particular when my team were ‘storming an enclosure’ and I rushed up the embankment towards them, dropped to the ground for cover and put my elbow straight on a ‘mine’ – BANG!!!, straight in the face…NOT NICE!…apart from being deafened I ended up with a mouth full of sand and grit!… 😀 GREAT FUN!!!

thanks for joggin’ the memory and, again, a BIG WELCOME to the site!

    more soon

    Leeroy,

    You’re kidding!

One of Paintball’s larger distributors of parts in the US is from Australia (Mac Developments). I can’t recall which part of Australia they are from, but it’s kind of ironic that it is illegal to play down there when you have a very large parts manufacturer in the neighborhood.

    Meanwhile…

Here’s how a lot of Paintball is played today. Paintball has largely come out of the woods both in the US and Eurpose. Now most of it is played on large ‘Airfields’. The fields ironically are called ‘Speedball’ fields and it’s definitely a lot faster than Paintball through the woods! Keeps you on your toes and you see a lot of crazy moves like the one pictured below!

This poor lad here is about to take it in the back of the head…
