Just joined the boards here and wanted to introduce myself and say hello. My name is Doyle and I own and operate a small sign shop in Michigan, USA.
I do mostly vinyl lettering/graphics/signs but have just recently (2 days ago) placed an order for a new Versacamm to get into the digital world. I found lots of useful info here when trying to make my decision about buying the printer and want to say thanks for all the great info here!
Two years ago, I acquired my business from my father who had been in the business part-time since 1996. I am now a 22 year old business owner and am still learning, though I had been working for my father since he started making signs.
I look forward to talking with all of you, as I could probably learn a lot from some old pros and newbies like myself!

I’m sure you’ll find a couple of old pros on here 😉 ahem 😳
As you’ve already seen there are a lot of people here with a combined knowledge that is nothing short of an encyclopedia!
Ask as many questions as you wish, especially about the VersaCAMM.

Well if after two years you are still in the business and about to take the step into digital printing with your new versacamm … you cant be doing too badly 😉
You will certainly find a lot of info and help here …. some very knowledgeable peeps around only willing to offer their advice.
Once you get up and running with the versa you will have to post some of your work for us to see.
Hope to see more posts and a piccie if you have one to load 😉

Thanks for the replies and hello to everyone. I really think this has got to be one of the best web sites I have found. There really is nothing better than being able to talk to others in the business to get advice and share knowledge and experiences. Just browsing over the past few days I have already gained a wealth of knowledge from this forum. I will most definately post some pictures of my work for all to see and will upload a picture of myself when I get one on my computer.
