    Hello
I’m Noel Hurse. I’ve just discovered this amazing site.. My days of struggle are over! I’ve been dabbling in signs for about 18 months as a sideline to my main occupation. I find its a great distraction from the stress of the daily grind (don’t ask). company name is Ded goog signs. I’m working on ideas for my rather unusual vehicle so I should find some real inspiration here. I hope you will all forgive me if I ask some really hopeless q’s but i’m still finding my feet! Oh there goes the phone for another call out, must dash! Ta ta!
    Noel 😀

    Hi Noel,

Sounds like you are in the same boat as me with the vinyl work as a sideline to get away from the norm. You’ll find the folks great on ere….

Just a quick note, my other profession is undertaking (yes, dead people).
Yes you cannot believe the stick I get for my name! All jokes gratefully accepted! Trust me you need a sense of humour in this job! as well as a creative outlet! Ded Good Signs is the business name(see what I mean!)

Hi Noel – Welcome to the UK signboards – the greatest resource for signmakers in the UK. 😀

I suppose you decided to take up signmaking because you found your other job to be “dead” boring…. either that or it was a “dead” end job!! 😕

What type of signwork do you hope to “undertake”? 🙄

You might just be able to help Noel:

your guys are always making coffins and stuff so they’re dab hand at chippy work. I’ve got to put a lock on my door and wondered if your guys know how to rig a mortice.

the other question is when someone kicks the can why do they have a ‘stiff’ drink afterwards?

I wouldn’t worry about the jokes with your name Noel, with a name like Hurse you’ll always be ahead of everybody else!
