Hi to all the people at “uksignboards”.
I work for a toolhire company in the Midlands that recently bought out an existing sign shop as ‘agoing concern’, only it wasn’t????
We would like to provide our existing(hire) customers with an in house solution to their signage needs…… and some.
We have never done anything like this before,but we have ideas and a desire to provide a good service and a better product.
We ‘inherited 2 graphtec machines and 2 pc’s(1 on 486 architecture!)
so whilst we get to grips with them and upgrade as we go,we may need a little help from our friends!

Sounds like you have already got clients in the making!
Could you not have a small section of the hire shop sectioned off for examples of signage? (I’d probably go a step further and set up a small sign shop within)john

Thanks to all the members that created a reply after my initial “hello”.
Sorry i have not been able to get back to you guys sooner,i’m still getting used to the way this forum works(and i’m trying to read up on everything thats on the site(but most seems for special accesss only!).
Our existing customers are keeping me busy,but the machinery seriously under used,if any of the work i’ve looked at on the forum is anything to go by!!!. we have now purchased an Edge2(i know what your thinking!!),so another attempt at a learning curve(curve..more like a vertical plane)i was just managing to keep up with Flexi7,now i’ve got Omega on my plate as well. But, i should be able to drive the Edge from Flexi7… yes?.I have tried, but only briefly and got an error message then.
Speak to u guys+girlz later,back to the reference manual LOL. 😮quote :i just hope i can suck seed!
