We have an Adkins flat press and also an Adkins cap press. We find it a great sideline doing printed clothing and sublimation. I would highly recomend. I would stay away from any of the cheap ones off ebay especially if you are doing sublimation.

Depends what you want to buy it for?

washing dishes? not very good idea

garment pressing? then it’s obviously worthwhile

i bought a setup for personal use and low volume. but still would recommend going with a good brand and supplier.
in the end i bought the Siser T1 from Grafityp, its a great press!
i also opted to take a deal i was offered on having the pocket press and the cap press add-ons that come purposely for this machine. they are very easy to change plug & play add-ons. Grafityp also have a very large range of presses you can view online.

this is the one i went for.

multi attachment heat presses are great but if your using it non stop then you’ve got the problem of waiting for the plates to cool down between changes

    I have 3 presses, a 24×24" clam press, 16×14" swingaway & a smaller hat/sleeve press

Clam presses are normally cheaper but don’t give an all round pressure when pressing
