  • Health & Safety policy – anyone got one ?

    Hi all,
Does anyone have a “health and safety” policy.
We’re doing some windows for an office building ( etch film) and the managing agent has asked for our health and safety policy.
I think it’s a list of blah blah blah type – we work from stepladders up to a certain height- we wear hi-vis jackets – If someone is working on a ladder someone else holds it…….that type of thing.
I just wondered if anyone has had one of these done that they’d cars to share?
I’m sure someone posted something similar ages ago but I can’t find it.
Any help on this would be most appreciated.
    Cheers
    Joe

Yes, the full document runs to about 25 pages, main contractors look for this and copies of insurance policies before going on site. Now we put a certificate confirming the existence of the statement and copy of insurance in when we are quoting.

I’m just sorting out my business insurance with NFU and they offer a chargeable service to sort out Health & Safety / Risk asessments and policy – not something I’m going to be getting just yet but looks a comprehensive service.
