    Hi there,

i’m having trouble taping ‘etch glass foil’-stripes with my application tape. I do it with an electric laminator using Oracal 8510/090 foil and Oracal MT72 application tape. Width of the foil is 1260mm.
Problem is that the backpaper starts to wave right before it gets taped. It’s not the first time i’m having this problem, so i count on you guys & girls :lol1:

    Peter, i think i’ll give it a try…
But when you have a machine like that it would be more interesting to use it… 😕

Just an idea, have you got your rollers too tight a gap?
I have just bought a lam machine so i am learning.

It is just a thought, maybe the gap between the 2 rollers is too tight & they are squeezing the vinyl & app tape together too tight, causing the wavy of backing paper.
Do you have this problem with other tapes?
