to a van. 3m say its 5 year and conformable within reason?

Did a van today to customers’s design with chrome vinyl stripes and bits all over. Looks blingy awful!!
We used Hexis 5 year chrome material. Not compliant and stretchy like regular vinyl but laid well. Its a strong material not brittle like others I’ve used. A lot cheaper than 3M.

peter, where do you get hexis from, and any chance of a pic?

Peter
Hexis sell direct. Take a look at http://www.hexis.co.uk.
Sorry, I don’t have a picture as the van was only finished around 6pm and it was dark outside.
Peter
P.S. Been in the buisness over 15 years — first time anyone’s asked for a picture — has to be the crappiest van I’ve ever done …..!!!!!

thanks peter,
will take a gander,
never underestimate your work, i do a lot of “what the customer wants” and a lot of the time it is really crappy, but it brings in the ££s

Being on here, you’ll get asked that a whole lot more 😉
Peter, I think Oracal are launching a new chrome vinyl soon, s’posed to be like a chrome version of 751 (?) Someone must know on here 🙄 (?) Some of the prices on chrome vinyl are just silly though 😕
Cheers, Dewi
