I believe that there are different types of adhesive on vinyls. Emulsion based and……….another one!?

Your supplier should be able to supply you with a FULL specification on their materials. It is something to take seriously as prolonged exposure to irritants can become nasty.

I have had a rash from vinyl a couple of times, especially when the adhesive side has stuck to my arm when weeding.

Acrylic adhesive is what you are looking for big G.

Even then, manufacturers are always experimenting with adhesives (I believe Avery have their own glue factory in Switzerland) to try to improve their product.

That means that there could be anything in them.

I suppose if anyone suffers badly from any allergy to adhesive on vinyl they could try some kind of barrier cream, you’d just have to be careful not to get any on the substrate as it’s quite greasy.
