Happy st Davids Day to you too! I drove my kids to school and watched all the junior school kids going to school all dressed up in Welsh costume, so cute 😀

Its Rob, the one staring into space as usual! 🙄 A little too cold for jumping of the waterfall, not that I’ve had the bottle to do it yet! Maybe after a couple in the Stable Lodge though :yikes: 😉 Was going to get the tent out – then checked the weather 😕 Hotel it is!

Dave/Rob – ‘Hwyl fawr’ seems like it should translate to ‘big fun’ or something similar but it actually means ‘goodbye’. Welsh is an odd language (like most), it has the same word for school and ladder (ysgol) and the same word for teach and learn (dysgu). The only word my customers seem to want in welsh is croeso (welcome). 16 years in welsh school to end up cutting ‘croeso’ out of vinyl, tch!

Was in 3" of snow on shell island last year Jayne, never again, dropped to -8 at night! Lovely Welsh Weather 😉

You must be mad, I used to camp on Anglesey when I was younger, me and Jeff on a motorbike and a 2 man tent in the winter, we must have been mad. A couple of old dears took pity on us one morning and took us into their caravan for a hot cuppa tea and a nice warm.
Im now far too old for camping and my kids shudder at the thought, I think I brought them up too soft :lol1: -
