I spent my 4th showing someone from Scotland how we celebrate it.
It was embarrassing, our weather was crap and she said it was warmer in Scotland.
Thanks for the well wishes tho!
    Love….Jill

Nothing wrong with the 5th. I happened to be born on that date as well. :lol1:

    Thanks Warren.

Had friends round for a barbie, went to fire it up and the heavens opened up big time. Her indoors got the frying pans out to save the day. (and save me the effort of cooking!) 🙄

don’t worry, we had 10 3 year old in and out the house everytime the rain kept coming back (and I work from home 🙄 )

That was the fun part, Sunday was a bit better when the family came around for my famous Durban curry and wifes true Italian lasagne 😉

as of course the boy was spoiled rotten 😕

Hope you had a great day, Mike.
    My friend’s birthday was yesterday.
I took her out to the japanese steak house where they grill your meal right in front of you.

    Thanks Jill XXX

My friend up the road is on the 3rd and we threw her a surprise party as she is now 41 and has never had a party, not even as a kid. She had a terrible childhood, so we made up for it on Friday, then it was my turn on Sunday. A busy weekend as I had to work 3 hours in the morning updating the local Park & Ride prices as the costs went up on the Monday.

Did you know that a posh restaurant in Japan will actually carve it from a live cow in front of you (!)
