• Hanging Brackets

    Hello all

Sorry I have not posting much but we are extremly busy at the moment,
since I have had two companies on the go its absoulutley manic!

I wonder if anyone can help?

Looking for a supplier of projecting hanging brackets! I have found a couple but the problem is that the sign needs to hang lower than a ‘shelf on shop front.
I need one that has 450mm from wall before it reaches the first fixing so the sign when hanging won’t hit the shelf.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers

I know that these are reputable merchants:
    http://www.percellsigns.com/i-shoppro/p … ckets.html
And there is also a guy from Connecticut named Cam Bortz who sells
Pondside Iron Brackets, but he has no website.
He makes em as tall as I am.
The cost of shipping might be considerable tho!
Like Mark says, maybe a local smithy would be an option.
Lord knows we don’t have too many of those left here!
    Love…..Jill

    Hi rising

Sometimes finding or getting a smithy / engineering welder to make some brackets can be a pain, as the job is that small.

In the past we have used Unistruct. Its like industrial meccano with angle brackets, cantilever arms and clamps. Its used by electricians plumbers for hanging cable trays and pipework. It generally comes galvanized but it can be cumbersome if you are tight for space.
An electrical wholesale company or a large plumbers merchant should have it or be able to order it for you.
    I came across this after a goggle search http://www.tycobuilding.com/cgi-bin/web … .pl?id=196
