Nice one AJ
Nice and cleanI was out with the brushes the other weekend
Had a great time because the weather was greatWhat script is that?
-
nice brushwork aj, i don’t like algerian though – i used to write firkin pubs, they use it all the time. i would have done vivara a bit smaller, great stuff mate, are you "straight off the brush" or computer layout?
-
I do not have the eye of an artist, but I do of a every day punter and it looks good to me.

No I meant the actual script to the right and left of the Algerian
-
quote John Singh:No I meant the actual script to the right and left of the Algerian
Looks like Edwardian or Marriage? Something like that anyway ๐ณ
-
John the script is English presto.
The customer already had cards made out in Algerian. Its not a bad style really.
I either draw out the letters in stabilo first or I use a paper drawing to chalk out. It depends on the job! ๐

Nice sign, you’ve made an old style alphabet look modern.

hi aj,
like the work! algerian is used alot in germany. often by persian businesses in germany. i dont think it suits everything tho, but i do find youยดve put it to good use! it looks classier with the black store front! nice and minimalistic.
you have a good eye for your work! seeing your work is always a pleasure.

AJ you probably wouldn’t like me because I couldn’t paint even if my life depended on it, I would be lost without the sticky back plastic stuff !!!
Have often wished I could do traditional sign writing though and have a lot of respect for those that can, bit to old now for me to start learning something like that now.
