Here’s a few recent van’s we’ve completed. Seem’s to be we’re doing more and more small/medium fleets which is great for us, and don’t really get the £99 brigade just looking for some letters stuck to the side!

The Yellow Level Best van, we produced a whole package, including the van graphics, A-Board, Business Cards & Flyers in a consistent brand.

Green Man, some of you may have seen in Metamarks Material Matters, a nice simple 3 colour job, flood coating the panels with M7 black, and using grass green & white vinyl.

TDL – Another metamark vinyl job, using Viking Blue & Cherry Red, this was the 2nd van of 3 in Manchester, and the chance to go down to London to complete the remainder of the fleet. We’ve also two motorcycles to install in Manchester too.

Firetech – Metamark M7 vinyl again, we’ve done a number of vans for the customer.

Bedford – M7 layered vinyl again, with White, Light Grey & Ultramarine Blue, the local competition weren’t overly helpful with the customer, so again we’ve ended up with 3 vehicles and another delighted customer.

    David

Looking good, you like the metamark vinyl then? I’m in the process of changing / looking around after the Paperlinx scenario and have started using their digital vinyl, MD5-A and have to say quite like it.

Is metamark your preferred vinyl of choice and how do you rate it compared to Oracal, if you don’t mind me asking.

    Cheers

Yes Metamark is the main vinyl we use.

Simply because of the service, which I cannot fault. We started using RHG, and moved back to Metamark following their appalling service.

We’ve used MacTac & Oracal too, which is again a good vinyl, however it’s more expensive than the M7.

I think metamark feel’s more ‘plastic’ than other vinyls, maybe thicker, I don’t know, but it’s still a good vinyl.

    Hi David,

We’ve been using Matamark every since we started over a year and a half ago. We’ve always used the MD5, MD7 and M7 range. Do you use the MD3 or M4 range what do you think of them? i spoken to Metamark about the M4 range and they’ve told me that it doesn’t shrink. I don’t want to take the risk use them for a job and the client not be too happy.

Did you flood coat the bonnet of the Level best van you posted? if so was it M7?

    Thanks,

    Seun

    Hi Seun,

We use MD3, however not for vehicle work, but flat panel & short term work. Vehicle graphics are always printed on MD5.

We also use M7, as the price difference between M7 & M4 isn’t huge, and we know it’s going to last.

The bonnet on Level Best, was actually wrapped with MacTac’s tuning film. It’s much thicker than 3m 1080, with an instant grab, and need’s warming to stretch, but for simple things like that it fit’s the bill.
