Gumtree Scam
Not sure where to put this but thought it best here since this is most likely where people looking to buy a printer would see it.
I recently responded to an advert on Gumtree for a Roland printer. On a certain level, the advert looked convincing — it was well written, had pictures, and a mobile number — but for some reason alarms bells were ringing…
After speaking to the guy on the phone, I’m 99.99% certain that this advert is (since it’s still there) a scam.
Just thought I’d let comrades / potential buyers here know. Can’t go into detail on here in case there’s a backlash, and wouldn’t want to divert traffic with a link, so if you need more info send me a message or something.

Gordon.. Gumtree is owned by eBay…. May be worth letting them know
