GRP signs, source needed!
Hi gang,
does anyone know who makes grp panels with returns?
Large size – 4800mm x 2400mm with 60mm returns….also any idea on cost. I think the potential client may want the signs made from one piece but I’ve said that I could put a 50mm return top and bottom on reynobond sheets and butt joint then/ fixed to aluminium angle drilled to the wall.
Also who’s the best for aluminium sign blanks with stove enamelled finish and signchannel on the back.

ashby sign supplies quickly come to mind joe…
ide give them a go.. if you do… remember mention the site mate 😉saying that though… you just need somone with a router to cut the blanks. anything huge i go to a guy near me with my sheets. he just cuts them and charges for the cutting then we fix on the sign channel its very easy… anything smaller we cut ourselfs on our router. i am guessing this is a shaped blank & not a square or rectangle yeh…
😉does it have to be alloy sheets.. do you know europoint now do a coloured range of material the equivelent to dibond and rynabond…
same prices or lower than the rynabond im sure. -
I have to agree with Robert, if its quality you are looking for then Ashby are very good, I have tried a couple of others who were a little cheaper but the quality was pants.
I have a number for a company that do GRP signs, I’ll sort it out and post it after lunch. -
Glasplas in oldham, lancs are the place to go
quality is second to none, we also do the digital printing for glasdon signs and another GRP company but (and i hope they dont see this) it would be glasplas every time
