    Hi

I’ve been using this combo for a while now without hitch but I’m now trying to do a slightly longer sign than usual (45 x 180cm) and when I go to set the output settings in Cutting Master and change the Valid area to slightly larger that the document it will allow me to change the X axis ok but the Y axis won’t – it pops up with an Illustrator error message saying "Value must be between 20 & 1514"

I have checked the page length on the plotter and this is the default 5000mm.

    Anybody any ideas on this.

    Many thanks

    Russ

From what I understand the X axis is the roll length and the Y axis is the left to right of the plotter, so you would need to set the X axis to the 180cm that you need. Try that and see if it works

    Thanks for that Jayne.

It was that but the preview in the cutting master threw me a bit as it was the other way round to what I usually get (if you understand me)

    Thanks again
