Just like the subject says, I am looking for a hi-res graphic fill of an engine turn design, color doesnt matter but if possible gold (beggers cant be chosers) I know one of my CDs had it but the one I think it was on refuses to read correctly because of the enormous scratch in it 😥 Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I can accept just about any graphic filetype.

    Fred,

I appreciate the reply =) but I am looking for a graphic fill for a print job. On file such as a .tiff or hi-res jpeg, I used to have it on my computer but when i formatted I lost it and the CD archive that i had it on has a bad scratch and wont let me open half the files.

What about Corel’s radial fill tool? Have you tried recreating it with that? Or would it look too simulated?

Thats the collection of CDs that I had, I burnt them to one DVD and it got ruined and I cannot find my seperate CDs, I think they got lost in the shuffle when I moved my office and renovated my house.

Andy I think im gonna try that then export it into photoshop and do some lighting effects to it to make it more realistic, good idea.

I did a quick test of this. I drew a radial filled circle and then overlaid some concentric circles to replicate the twist. It looked OK. I’m sure a man of your talents should be able to achieve a good result. Show us how you get on, I’d be interested.
