    Hello

This is going to be the biggest sign Ive priced to date. so would like your advice on cost please

Am replacing this signage as it is damaged. am going to use ACM. what you see is 5mm foam board. there is already channel erected so would just be the case of buying in 10 2440 x 1200mm sheets applying a hanging strip and vinyl " 610 plotter" so about 30 meters of vinyl. remove old signage and erect new.

    Thanks for looking

    Martin

Just price it as you would any other, put your mark up on the panels, vinyl inc mark up, then labour. Factor in a helper for a day to install, I got some free pitch and program advertising when I did my local teams stand, that was worth giving a discount for, otherwise price as you would normally!

is that fitted into a panatrim "type" sign frame?
how long has that sign been up?
when you say damaged, are you patching the broke areas or renewing the lot?
what hieght is that off you ground to the "top" of the sign approximately?

have you had a look at the rear of the sign and how its fixed. have you been able to get up close to the sign and see how secure the whole thing is?

is this for a football club?

sorry for ll the questions mate…

I knew I shoulda specified it but, "your daily needs" should also include all expenses like any specialist access hire etc.

Inspection is essential, the last I did was awful, only checked from the floor (12ft up), existing ply facia was as rot as! Frame was all swaying etc. they still needed it fitting so i put my composite over the old ply, it strengthened the whole structure but obviously added a lot if weight, all my concerns were expressed and emailed to the sponsored before installing, the club committee on site made the decision to fit.

I honestly thought it would fall down and got em so sign a waiver there n then – that said, two weeks later it survived the 75mph gales!!

Rob answers to your questions, yes it is on to a panatrim type of frame. am not sure how long it has been up. is there a life span of this kind of frames? Am renewing the lot with composite, 12ft to the top of the sign. i was going to remove a panel to get a better look at the original fixings but from the ground it just looks like it is screwed on to the wooden face. no it is not a football ground. its more like an event park. where the turriff show is held once a year. most of the year it is empty people walk there dogs etc.

Thanks for posting your prices guys its nice just to have a comparison.
