    Grafityp Open Days Success!

“Thanks for a great day”, were the comments reiterated time and time again from customers as they left our Open days on the 11th and 12th October at the Grafityp UK Ltd premises in Tamworth Staffordshire. All in all, we had two magnificent days with a steady stream of customers coming through the doors from as far away as Cornwall, as well as a group from London deciding to attend as late as 3.00pm. Visitors were greeted with coffee and croissants in the morning, followed by a superb buffet lunch and each received a £25 gift voucher and a goody bag packed with Vinyl colour card samples, product literature and handy tools including weeding knife, squeegee and a spirit level ruler.

The two day event proved to be a complete success, with the emphasis on getting to know our customers and in turn our customers getting to know us and understand our business but also to educate them on the vast range of products Grafityp have to offer. No pushy sales tactics, just an informative and very relaxed atmosphere with demonstrations, tips and tricks whilst offering attendees information on how to diversify into other markets to embellish their business. New and innovative products on show like the GrafikPod series of display systems, received a great response from all who attended.

There was a full complement of excellent equipment from market leaders RolandDG, including the new Roland VersaStudio BN-20 500mm wide print and cut machine, VersaUV LEF-12 UV printer with four colour plus white and clear inks and the ability to print onto a whole host of different objects up to 100mm thick. The Roland offering also included the powerful VersaCAMM VS series and SPi series of print and cut machines, and the new RS-640s sublimation printer which brings wide format dye sublimation printing into a very accessible price band. Expert advice was on offer on the whole Roland range and backed up with excellent support from RolandDG UKs Rob Goleniowski and Adam Wyles.

Grafityps range of printers from Mutoh also received plenty of attention with their attractive price and excellent output quality, entry to the world of large format printing has never been so accessible.
From Grafityps long established partnership with GCC, the full range of SignPal Jaguar, Puma and Sable cutting plotters were drawing attention as always, and GCCs market leading LaserPro range of laser engravers and cutters were also on full display including the new X-380 and X-252 professional entry level series.

The latest offers from Signlab 9 were also on display, and demonstrations were available with Cadlinks Bernhard Nitsche for anyone who wanted to take a more in-depth look at what this market leaders new version has to offer.
New heat transfer materials from leading manufacturer, Siser, were also on display and as always with this excellent range had customers flocking around to see the new and exciting offerings are available such as the Grafiflex 3D-XPD and 3D-Techno as well as the superb Grafiflex C-print PU, which takes digital textile printing to a new and very exciting level. To complement the comprehensive range of garment and textile materials were heat presses from SEFA and Siser showing just how easy it is to apply textile vinyl using a good quality heat press.

This being Grafityp there was of course materials everywhere, sign making vinyl for every application including the new Grafitack GEF series of environmentally friendly materials, Grafiprint printing materials ranging from short term right the way up to clever and innovative materials like Glow-Print phosphorescent printing media, and the exceptional new Graficast Deco and Automotive range consisting of a huge choice from Carbon to camouflage. The GrafiWrap Vehicle Wrapping film demonstrations as always were extremely popular and demonstrated with ease by one of the best wrap trainers around, James Deacon.
