today i got an unboxed roll OF GRAFICAST BLACK MATT MSC902 1370mm.
But what i can’t understand is that the BACKING PAPER is plain with no grafityp logos noting… just plain white… Has anyone of you guys ever got grafityp black matt with the same plain backing paper??? Please let me know, cause i don’t know if to trust it.. thanks

hi Havent had matte black with no design on backing paper but have had lots of other materials like that, I have bought it up with the factory a couple of times and they assured me its normal. Even got sent two rolls of So22P once, one with logos on backing , one without.

    cheers

the factories that manufacture vinyl will print any logo onto the backing paper when large enough quantaties are purchased at one time.

Hi Aaron, firstly you said unboxed, so did this roll get delivered without it’s packaging as I would like to take this up with the courier if this is the case.

Now onto the backing paper, like most major manufacturers Grafityp has to have several suppliers of backing paper just in case if one delivery failed their quality inspection then they would have to use one of the other suppliers, just to keep the production lines going, so sometimes there can be a plain backing sheet used rather than one with our logo on.

Does the backing sheet have a batch reference printed onto it, because all backing paper when going through the coating lines should automatically have a batch number printed onto it.

    Regards
    Nigel
