Gradient white or gradient frost window privacy vinyl recommendation?
Posted by Pane Talev on November 12, 2021 at 2:28 pmHello folks,
(photos attached)
As per title, I need gradient white or gradient frost window privacy vinyl recommendation?
I’m thinking already manufactured film of the shelf maybe?
Please suggest manufacturers if you’ve worked with such a vinyl.

We’ve used 3M Fasara Cloud to do some something similar. Quite pricy though.

Thanks Jamie,
This will go in modern house. On the shower glass walls. Do you see this as possible solution?

I would think it would be OK if laminated and fitted on the outside of the walls. I’ve attached a PDF, but I’d check with the supplier to make sure it’s suitable.

funnily enough, I have used this once in my life and it was a high-end house, big glass partition between the toilet and walk-in shower. the one I used was not solid white but wasn’t a gradient, either.
I could be wrong, but I think it may have come from William smiths and was a 3M product. was many years ago, now.

when i saw this i thought it was a very nice effect. but what’s annoying me is the blend does not go completely clear. so gives a sharp stop on the gradient. most irratating. 🤨

This Fasara film got rejected today for the very same reason.

Maybe just my eyes but that 3M white fade looks like the room is on fire. Either that or they’ve got a hell of a condensation problem. I think the frost is a much better option Pane, & much easier to make it unique to the client which means a bigger price tag.

I dont know anything about this type of vinyl but could you not cut a shaped design like a wavy line or a few lines getting thinner near the top and bottom. this may break the hard line in the blend?
i like the look but i agree with others on the blend.
