Good media for pop up exhibition stands – printed HP Latex
Posted by David McDonald on September 15, 2013 at 1:15 pmHi All
Starting to do a reasonable amount of these now and want to review what media we are currently using both from a quality, and more so, from a price point of view.
We are printing on HP Latex 26500
Current media is 1371mm, 310 micron, satin polyester, grey back.
Any suggestions?
Many Thanks

Hi Dave / all
Yes, current media is from Allprint, tsfp13.
Prints fine but its the only one we’ve ever tried and have never benchmarked quality or prices, although wouldn’t be fair to say what we are currently paying. Just after some suggestions as to who else supplies a media that works well on latex and then we can ring for prices
Cheers

snap… we have used the same material for pop up systems.. both latex and uv print well.

I too use the one from Allprint and Innotech supply the same one as well, have tried one from William Smith but not cheap enough.

Ive just been asked to price some pop up banners which I’ve no experience on having only had the L26500 for a couple months but paper graphics do a grey back version that seems a lot cheaper than the version you mentioned from all print but I cant tell you what the quality is like at this time, if the job comes off Ill post back with more info and pictures.

Just seen on a certain auction site that the price of roll-up’s has now hit the all time low of £30.00 😮 🙁 and that’s printed on a latex printer with free postage!!!
Please tell me where you make the profit from (?) (?) -
I saw one the other week for £24.99 if you supply your own art work, almost worth subbing them out not worh the hassle making them for that.

popups … not rollups.
