• Goldmine

Nope, not after a get rich quick scheme by digging into a Welsh mountain (although I’ve heard there is still some gold in there 😮 ). Has anyone heard of a font called Goldmine? I’ve searched my CDs but nothing jumps out.

    Thanks in advance,

    Cheers, Dewi

Dewi, I can’t find anything on the Net.
    What’s it look like?
    Old-West? Serif? Sans Serif?
I have one somewhere called GOLDRUSH,
looks like something you’d see on a bawdy house sign.
    Love….Jill

I find it amazing that there is so much “help” avaialble from members here , A kudo to the bord members and the board itself , it’s a place that promotes sharing – well done all

I second that Rodney, I only wish that the firms I find myself competing with were as open and helpful as everyone on here.

When you click on the files to download them you get a page like this.

    Internal Server Error

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@uksignboards.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    ahhh thats the reason mate.
we managed to amend the code to allow ttf fonts and zip files to be uploaded, (but the server forbids it! 😮 ) dont ask me why? long story…
anyway, we will soon be moving to a dedicated server with many more fancy features for the site, as well as the ability to upload & download “any” type of file. 😀

if anyone is getting errors with files other that the ones mentioned, please let me know, thank you 😉

Aye, theres a problem with some EPS files as well 🙁 Its bizarre that the server won’t allow them, anyone tried RAR files yet? May be the answer to all our problems 😕

    i use rar files a fair bit…

are you sure eps? is this just recent or has it never allowed them?
i hope it didnt create that problem trying to load the mime types for the .ttf files 😕

EPS’s haven’t worked for me for quite a while now, so I’ve avoided them and used .ai instead… I don’t think CorelDRAW files work either which is a bit of a bummer 🙁
