Here’s a couple of gilded fascias we did before Christmas.
We were actually gilding the Cafe lettering in the dark at about 5.30 by the lights of
traffic going by as it was a bit of a rush job so had no choice.

    Thanks Lynn and Harry.

It’s nice to work with gold now and again but not so nice outside in the middle of winter.

Gold price has soared recently 29%……time to cash in my box of skewings 😀

I love the arts and crafts one best.
I think it’s hard to gild outside on even a nice day, it must have been rough in the cold and dark!
    But you persevered.
    Love…..Jill

Thanks Grandma, I prefer the Arts and Craft.
Both were customer supplied specs as far as fonts used.
Personally I wouldn’t have gone for all caps on the cafe fascia but
sometimes ours is not to reason why……… 🙄

Yeah….I didn’t want to say anything but I knew the all-caps wasn’t your idea!
    😀
Still, both are well rendered, better than I could do so I hate you just a teeny bit.
    😉
