  • Gluing Wood To Acrylic – recommendations on adhesives please

    Guys,

I’ve got a wonderful job on for a well known Auction house in London.

I need to glue 18mm thick block of 400mm x 400mm CNC cut MDF to a 10mm thick sheet of perspex.

We will then hang the perspex sheet on the wall.

Need to have a solid bond between the two material.

    any recommendations on adhesives?

assuming the wood is to the face can you not drill and screw from behind? failing that gorrilla glue or VHB?

i normally use SIMSON ISR 70-03 its a sealer adhesive allows for movement between different types of materials as you have.Robert Horne stock use the primer as well and it will hold an elephant up. I put an exterior sign up over 10 years ago with it and still in place today.
