Glow In The Dark Vinyl – Can I Get Any?
Posted by Paul Humble on May 5, 2009 at 3:12 pmDoes anyone know if there are any suppliers of Glow in the Dark vinyl on the market? I need the type of thing that looks white until its in the dark then it glows green or yellow.

You need a photo luminescent vinyl. I know Hexis do it and others I’m sure.If you give them a call they will send you a sample.

There was a thread on here only a week or so ago from a guy who I think specialised in only selling that type of material. Might have been deleted though as it was as good as a direct supplier plug! lol
I will have a look!

The hexis one is available in green (EP1501), White (KP2501) or fluorescent yellow (KP250)… never used it mind!

Paul, I have used the Hexis and it is spot on! Did a Halloween theme on a kids bedroom then had to cheer up a skeleton few days later though as he was "a bit too scary". A little tip – ‘charge’ the graphic by shinning a bright lamp on it for 10 seconds or so. Even in daylight it will glow. Impresses the customer.

i have used various makes. all very similar and do the job.
they have a yellow/green look from them and from the ones i have used the "vinyl" has been pretty thick and the adhesive pretty gummy.i had europoint in only a couple of weeks ago with a very nice sample, almost white vinyl that glows very well indeed. i havent seen the hexis stuff or the like, only the green/yellow tinge stuff as i had said, so this new stuff i was pretty impressed with as it just felt like a regular vinyl but glows. havent a clue costs, and i dont even know if it is stocked yet but definitely worth a try. its an oracal product from memory…
