• Global Warming!

So what’s the big panic about "Global Warming" then!

Normally summer in Scotland is cold wet and windy. But we have actually enjoyed a few days of decent weather here for a change.

If this is all down to global warming – then bring it on I say 😛 😛

No need to now Peter – I’m planning my own wine producing business right here in sunny Livingston 😀 (I was a brewer dont’cha know, so making wine should be doddle for me if I can get the flucking grapes to grow 😛 )

The Scots always moan about English football comentators being biased.

Well I’ve noticed it’s not just the football comentators that are biased – weather forecasters are even worse.

You watch a weather forecast for Britain – they always predict better weather in England than they do for Scotland.

If that’s not biased I don’t know what is 🙄

Jolly unfair if you ask me *hair*

Exactly! Yesterday I was really lazy, I’m not in the mood for work. I think up here in Scotland, when the weather is as hot as this, they should declare a public holiday! 😛
I’m waiting on a van arriving to get done, hope it’s here sooner rather than later….. dont want to be at it during the midday sun! 😎

Don’t forget the latest advice about sunscreen – layer it on thick and don’t rub it in – you’re supposed to leave it like a layer of butter on your skin – fine, but how do you get rid of all the dead flies that then stick to you 🙁

well if any of you really are concerned about global warming, I’ve been left with stock of 40 t-shirts. premium quality 100% organic cotton, water based inks, with an image of a globe on fire and the ‘words who cares?’

produced as an environment awareness product, client rejected the colour, the flame red came out too orangy for his liking – the old issue of seeing it on screen isn’t the same as ink…. bla, bla, bla…. just decided to cut my losses and hold my hands up to it.

If any one is really concerned, does this should be given a try??

    about 19 hours to go

At least it’s something fun just to imagine, 600.000.000 persons jumping at same time, what about if the push is a bit more then wanted??

Its still baking now ….. was so hot in the unit today …. we decided to fill up two buckets with cold water and sit them under the desk and plunged our feet in :lol1: we had gone past caring if anyone walked in …. we actually convinced ourselves that it would be ok to offer anyone that came in a dunk of a foot …. then had a long conversation about what you could charge peeps for a bucket of water to stick their feet into when its hot like it is??? 😮 😕 Strange what a bit of heat can do to you!!!

I swear this happened today, as I was applying a sign in searing heat, 30 degrees, a passerby quipped: is it hot enough for you?, to which I replied, Jayus it’s serious, she thought for a moment, and said, We can’t complain, can we? they should have knocked a hole in that ozone layer years ago!
MADE MY DAY THAT DID! 😀 😀 😀
