And new higher taxes on the way to prevent it from happening. It has been predicted that the end would come on the 9.9.1999. Then sometime last year.

Its only partially true,
the earth’s rotation needs to slow down in readiness for the decimal (ten hour) day. To do this, countries that support the decimal system have been erecting so called, wind turbines. These devices are actually a wind brake, and although appear to be producing energy, they are being driven, so as to slow down the earth’s rotation.
Once we have a ten hour day, we can also have a ten day week, a ten week month, and a ten month year, so decades will then be easily defined.
and accounting will become easier.Peter
