Hope this is the right forum 😳

Have the chance to quote 100 of the above, but cant fathom out how they’ve managed to get a glitter effect on one of the colours.

    Any thoughts??

It’s on a dark green colour that is solid with yellow and red solicitors name on top(underneath) and on a phone number which is the green glitter onto the white board background.

It looks too uniform to just have glitter sprinkled on it when the prints been done, and it isn’t vinyl ’cause it scrapes off!!

Wondering if it’s a flat bed print with glitter effect inks if that’s possible.

    Cheers,

    Fred

Fred this is an ink that you can get specially made up by most silkscreen ink suppliers. The way it is done is by screenprinting it through a very open screen mesh anywhere up to a 40 screen mesh count. the ink is a special mix and costs a fortune. It is used a lot on Fruit machine decoration. Speak to someone like Sericol , Marler Finecal or Appolo inks.

Thanks for that Mark, will do.

Been involved in the business for 23 years and never heard of it, is it a recent innovation??
