    Hi again.
dislike net curtains, did this in textured etched vinyl, gives the kitchen a nice modern feel, gives privicy, easy to clean and I can still see the sky.

What with your front door, inner doors and now the windows, don’t you do any work for anyone else 😀

Hey Dave, I dont know HOW I manage to fit it all in….but this window only took 20mins from design to stick on so it didnt take long….but as I say on the website, if you want something done properly…get a busy lady to do it for you!
    Phew!

I like the idea & the design but I think my personal preference would have been to soften the hard edge a bit. I might give it a go….thanks for the tip

It’s extremely similar to my own kitchen windows 😮 😮 😮 I’ll take a pic this morning and upload it once I’ve charged my camera.

    Here’s mine ………. 😮 😮 😮 , see what I mean!
Anyway, I did mine because I had taken down the blinds that were previously there and binned them. After leaving the windows bare (there’s another window in the room too) I decided I didn’t want to put blinds up again but wanted something to the diffuse the light. As privacy isn’t an issue I did the top of the glass to kinda give the effect of blinds…. well sort of!!!!
The sun shines in the windows in the afternoons, so the design reflects onto the wall opposite … quite nice!

OMG! thats spooky Marcella eh?. I like the wavy edge too. Looks like you have a nice view from your window. Mine are houses opposite but lots and lots of sky so I have put mine like cafe curtains.

I take it the common thought is that Robert has SBUK written through the middle of him like Brighton Rock?

    Hi Marcella and Cheryl,
I am working on a privacy screen project (first and only time I have ever done this, but they liked my mural so much!). Its very slow going. I just noticed your awesome simple etched glass look!
I know almost ziltch about vinyl, and am on a crash course to learn so I can design a unique privacy screen. So my basic question is, where the cut outs are in the vinyl in your windows, is that actually cut away so there is nothing on the glass, or is that part of the vinyl clear?
    Thanks for your help!
    Andy

this is an old thread andy but i am sure marcella and cheryl will make a reply once they see it.

i would say the circles are definitely cut from the etch using their vinyl cutters after being designed using their vector based sign making software.
the software basically tells the cutter the path to take and it goes ahead and does it. its a quick process…
