You can still do the same thing when your knee’s don’t work trust me I know :lol1:

Forget all this rubbish Andrew and get back to some serious sign work. I know I will miss looking at the work you post on the forum and I am sure others will as well.

I don’t think Andrew means he is going anywhere just yet Martin…

I know very little about this sort of treatment, but I have heard allot of reports of how this type of work actually works wonders for many.

    and martin….
I was actually serious about flying and squidgy food. ๐Ÿ˜ณ :lol1:

Robert< I didn’t think for one minute that you were joking and if Andrew is half as good at this new venture as he is at sign making then he may well be to busy with his new career to do any sign work.

At least we know his Hypnotherapy premises will look great :lol1: :lol1:

Good luck with your new career Andrew. ๐Ÿ˜€

And if you ever get fed up with your new job and can’t be bothered, you could always adopt this fellows methods ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

:lol1: of course mate… never miss an opertunity to wind you up….. because i know you never miss one for me! ๐Ÿ˜‰ :lol1: :lol1:

anyway, Ide love to see how this sort of thing works.
i used to have trouble sleeping, by chance i bought a audio CD which had a sort of meditation "section" in it. without going into it all, ever since getting it, i am out like a light within minutes. (and no i dont mean it bored me to sleep) lol… so for me that was pretty much proof this sort of thing can and does work.
i think i heard/read it can work much better for some than it does others. but the fact it can work i think is the point and should be worth considering if all else has failed.
i also had a freind that says it helped stop them smoking, so not such a bad investment! no more ciggarettes to buy and you live longer into the bargain. ๐Ÿ˜€

as for me flying, well ill do anything but fly, but i do fly when i have too…
takes an hour or two in the bar before take off then a bottle of champers as soon as i get on the plane to do it. :lol1:
see, out my mind over matter for me… ๐Ÿ˜‰

I knew what you were up to and glad it all went well Andrew.

I take my hat off to you for doing it, I remember us both saying we were both looking at an alternative career paths possibly for later in life and you have done it!

I’m still half way through my fire eating course and will post when I have passed ๐Ÿ˜€

    Great website btw.

    Rob,

Phobias respond very well to hypnotherapy during my case studies I have helped people to overcome their phobias and they no longer respond in a negative way to the original presenting problem.
Sometimes a phobia can be treated by suggestion therapy alone and sometimes in requires the clinical approach i.e analysis when you return to the root cause of the problem. I know it works because I can now visit the dentist, before I couldn’t even see the word without having anxiety attacks.
Your meditation is a light state of hypnosis and I would imagine you would benefit greatly as you are creative and intelligent. People that enter hypnosis freely have an open mind and and use both the analytical and subconscious parts of the brain. I would hazard a guess that you have been known to sleep walk (?) I have helped clients stop smoking, lose weight, increase their confidence…even things like golfing yips…..It’s a fascinating subject ๐Ÿ˜€
As you already practice a level of meditation I reckon you could learn to reach a very deep level of self hypnosis in a single session. Fear of flying one or two ๐Ÿ˜€ Not drumming up business as I already owe you for your kind contribution to the snail trail ๐Ÿ˜€

Your bang on there Andrew, some embarrassing situations too! ๐Ÿ˜ณ :lol1:

I actually think its all very interesting… always been a bit apprehensive, but actually knowing the person doing the work would ease your mind for sure.

The Best Hypnotic Subject: The Somnambulist
    November 24, 2007

Are you right-brained or left-brained? Do you know the difference? Well, how right- or left-brained you are can affect how open you may be to hypnosis and the way in which a hypnotherapist may approach hypnotising you.
The Somnambulist (literal meaning: โ€˜sleep walkerโ€™) is someone who can use both sides of the brain in equal parts and because of this, is the type of person who responds well to hypnosis, sometimes without the need for a formal induction.

So from that Andrew I am guessing that I wouldn’t benefit at all ๐Ÿ˜ณ

    did a quick google on right-left etc…

did some question tests on a couple of websites.
both times says im right sided.

    think 0ne site says i was 72% right – 28% left
    another says I’m 12 right – 6 left

did the spinning dancer picture too… i see her spinning clockwise, which says im right sided. but i can easily make her spin both ways after a few seconds.

    http://lateralaction.com/articles/left-brain-or-right/

are these sort of tests realistic ways to tell or is there much more to it?

Rob…Your subconscious brain would respond very well to suggestion, these suggestions can create very positive changes.
As an experiment print this off on an A4 and without studying draw it upside down.
Would love to see the result and to know how you felt your brain dealt with the process ๐Ÿ˜€
