    hi
i guess there is a muck up in the file. Gerber conversion isn’t perfect.

try doing half of your image.. see if that works

Have a look at the size of the job you are exporting. If the dimensions are too big it be that it cant handle the file size. I know when exporting ai files in the past, Omega will prompt you by saying the dimensions are too big and that it needs them scaling down. Try resizing your drawing and then exporting

I hate exporting from Gerber GA.
Stevo taught me to reduce the size of the file and that helped considerably,
and sometimes an .eps converts better for me than a damn .ai!
Then you can just save it as an .ai in Corel.
    Good luck.

Next time, also check that you are exporting as a AI (GSP) Illustrator, and not the AI Illustrator export filter. The AI (GSP) is at the top of the list of exportable files, and the non-gps version is towards the bottom.

Another trick, but doesn’t always work correctly, is to copy from Omega and paste into Corel.

We have the same problem when trying to go from Inspire to Corel 10 and also find cutting and then pasting into Corel a better way to go.

all i do is copy my omega artwork and paste in to illustrator and release the compound path. For some reason omega only supports up to eps version 8, which confuses me. Im new to the industry and hace a rockhopper 2 which has been renamed the jetsterXL by spandex. I have a Gerber P2C1600 plotter and a Macrolam laminator. It has been an uphill struggle as i have entered this trade from scratch, not even knowing what photoshop or illustrator was. Im getting there but still need help with a lot of aspecs of the job, which is why i joind the forum. Does anyone have Mistral? that is my RIP software. That also only seems to support version 8 eps or lower, and wont even let me open a PDF.
