GERBER HEAT PROOF MATERIAL, ANYONE KNOW WHAT ITS CALLED?
Hi all, haven’t posted for ages, been very busy!! i’m trying to get hold of some heat proof material for a gerber edge fx. its silver in colour and looks a little like aluminum to be honest! i’ve asked gerber here in spain, they have no idea what i’m on about!! i know you can get it but not sure what its called! they have said they have a vinyl thats heat proof upto 300 degrees c. maybe i’ll have to use that? its to go on exhaust etc, so it needs to be good stuff. anyone have any suggestions?

ask your supplier for Gerber label stock…
it is available here in Canada and usait is fire rated…

hi, thanks for the reply. i asked gerber here and to be honest they are usless!! they really are! thats why i posted this in the hope someone could point me in the right direction! i’ve had to give up the order now though as spandex didn’t have a clue and nobody wrote back on the board here. pity that, as it was big order too.
for future jobs i’ll try and find an american site and see if they have any knowledge of what i’m after. as you said, you have it there in canada and the usa. thanks again for the reply mate. -

cheers phil, as the site you suggested was deleted by the admin peeps! i think i know what site your talking about and i am a member but the site was down or something was amiss when i was trying to find out. i managed to get hold of a rep who can get what i want now, bit late but at least i know for the future! thanks for your help mate.
