I am looking for a little help with the Gerber Font Agenda, it is a chrome effect. Does anyone have this font on their Gerber and could they layout some text and email it, so I can show a client? If they like it then I can purchase it from Spandex, but at £80 +VAT it would be expensive to buy then find he doesn’t like it.

    Look forward to a reply.

Im trying to cast my mind back here but can you not use a true type font and use the gerber font converter to bring it into omega. I know that the font you want already has the fill on it but I was wondering if you could improvise and use a similar font and make the fill yourself in Omega. (it has been 4 years since I used omega so I might be talking a load of ****)

Thanks for the thought Jayne, but I couldn’t get the hang of Omega so I have just upgraded my Signlab to run the Gerber. I am currently trying to create the fill and use clipping(?) to get the font similar to the Gerber one.

    Cheers

Im the opposite, I liked Omega, but had been using the Gerber software since it began many many years ago!. Didnt like Signlab at all as it used to stop printing half way through for no apparent reason. (large format inkjet not edge) Now very happy using Flexi. Hope you get your fills sorted, have a good weekend. 😀

    Dave,

There are some bitmap fonts on your Signlab fonts and clipart disc, have a look and see if any will work for you.

Thanks Andrew, I have given the customer numerous samples of chrome effect from Signlab, using the eyecandy chrome effect, but he is insisting on the ‘Agenda’ chrome look. It is my fault for showing him this before knowing it wasn’t in my Omega package, and the cost. 🙁
