Hi Folks,
I was unsure that it may be regarded as a ‘competing’ site..
But in all honesty, I found it fantastically useful, especially when Gerbers own technicians legitimately contributed on there.
If you asked for help, around 5 o’clock our time, they must have been at the right time of day to assist, I always got responses and genuinely positive help.

edge talk closed its doors some years ago due to lack of traffic, responses etc which is understandable when you revolve a whole site around one machine. a machine which is very old hat now in many ways.
regardless, i will ask chris to have a look at the volume of edge posts and consider segmenting them if the number is significant.
that aside, edge topics are more than welcome to be posted in the general printing forum. 😀

Ah, Points taken Robert,

For me personally, I only use the Edge, for my work which reproduces as close to original printed media, ink just isn’t the way to do it, hence the Edge.
As we know, there are many many firms out there that keep their Edge for those specials which physically cannot be achieved with ink, so I think it would be really good if there was a specific area….?

Regarding my Avatar, my apologies, I am as guilty as most for not reading the small print.. if you wish to remove it I accept the conditions.. however, brace yourself for a shock when I become vain enough to take my own picture for it’s replacement…………….
